Air Philip to add two Embraer aircraft to fleet soon

Air Philip strategy and planning manager Sangyun Kim, speaking at the CAPA LCCs in North Asia Summit, stated (11-Jun-2018) Air Philip plans to work with Embraer because the manufacturer has "unique characteristics" and can provide aircraft for short take off and landing operations at airports with runways ranging from 1200m to 1500m, including planned Heuksan Airport and Ulleungdo Island Airport. Mr Kim said maintaining an approximately 80% average load factor "might not be so difficult" for the start up airline, because it plans to operate smaller aircraft. He reported Air Philip plans to introduce two additional Embraer aircraft to its fleet in the near future.
