Air NZ puts B747 on Christchurch sector

Air New Zealand announced plans to add special services to Christchurch following Tuesday's earthquake (Radio New Zealand, 22-Feb-2011). The airline is offering one-way fares to and from Christchurch for NZD50 one-way until Friday. The airline will operate a B747-400 on its Auckland-Christchurch route today (23-Feb-2011) to meet the needs of family, friends and emergency services.
