Air New Zealand and Air Chathams announced an interline partnership in Oct-2025, initially planned to launch in Dec-2025, enabling single-ticket itineraries combining both airlines, starting with Whakatane services and onward connections such as via Auckland to Queenstown.1 2 Air New Zealand previously said it opened discussions with Air Chathams after New Zealand Government funding for smaller-carrier digital upgrades to enable interlining.3
