Air India reportedly announced plans to defer the payment of employee salaries for Mar-2010 by one week to 07-Apr-2010 (The Times of India, 27-Mar-2010). Air India has not deferred the payments of salaries since Jun-2009 when the delay was 15 days. The carrier reportedly has USD1.7 billion in working capital borrowings.
