Air France-KLM pax numbers up 11.7% in Dec-2011, cargo and RASK stable

Air France-KLM passenger numbers up 11.7% - traffic highlights in Dec-2011:

  • Passenger numbers: 6.1 million, +11.7% year-on-year;
  • Load factor: 81.5%, +1.0 ppts;
    • Europe: 71%, -0.1 ppt;
    • Trans-Atlantic: 86.7%, +1.8 ppts;
    • Asia Pacific: 83%, +0.7 ppt;
    • Africa and Middle East: 82.1%, +3.4 ppts;
    • Caribbean and Indian Ocean: 83.3%, -0.4 ppt;
  • Cargo traffic (FTKs): -0.3%;

Air France-KLM: “Unit revenue per available seat kilometre (RASK) ex-currency was stable relative to December 2010. In December 2011 cargo traffic and capacity were virtually stable (-0.3% and +0.1% respectively).
