Air France-KLM benefits from economic recovery; expanding Asia, Latin America and Africa networks

Air France-KLM CEO Pierre-Henri Gourgeon, in the carrier's 2010/2011 Annual Report, stated it is clear that, like other air transport groups, that Air France-KLM has benefited from the global recovery. Latin America, China and the United States have emerged or are emerging from the financial crisis that rocked the world in 2008, he said. He stated the carrier plans to continue to develop its network by offering new routes not previously served or served from a single hub, particularly towards Asia, Latin America and parts of Africa.
