Air Do formulates FY2017-FY2019 medium-term management plan, considering scheduled intl service

Air Do completed (19-Apr-2017) its FY2017-FY2019 medium-term management strategy rolling with the view to commence assessing launching scheduled international services in the future. For the three years to FY2019, the carrier will actively operate international charters in order to gain results and experience in international operations. In the domestic market, the airline seeks to open new routes by FY2019. In fleets, Air Do plans to upgrade two of its Boeing 767-300 aircraft in H2FY2018 and will decide on the remaining two aircraft by mid-FY2018. It also set the following financial targets:

  • FY2017:
    • Revenue: JPY48.8 billion;
    • Operating profit: JPY2 billion;
    • Net profit: JPY0.9 billion;
    • Operating profit margin: 4.1%;
  • FY2018:
    • Revenue: JPY49.0 billion;
    • Operating profit: JPY2.2 billion;
    • Net profit: JPY1.0 billion;
    • Operating profit margin: 4.5%;
  • FY2019:
    • Revenue: JPY50 billion;
    • Operating profit: JPY2.3 billion;
    • Net profit: JPY1.1 billion;
