Air China says closer attention needs to be paid to US govt action over protectionist issues

Air China VP and GM North America Zhihang Chi, speaking at the CAPA Americas Aviation Summit 2016, stated (11-Apr-2016) he would not label US carriers as "being protectionist or not", but he stressed closer attention needs to be paid to government action. He said he'd argue the interest of US carriers is separate from US aviation policy, and therefore the policy of open skies will continue to exist and be promoted. [more - CAPA TV]
