Air China believes partnership with US carrier helpful, although a ‘delicate song and dance’

Air China VP & GM North America Zhihang Chi, speaking at the CAPA Americas Aviation Summit 2016, stated (11-Apr-2016) a partnership with a US carrier would be very helpful; but concluded there is a "delicate song and dance between competitor and partner". There needs to be more harmony on a regional basis in JVs, whilst noting everyone wants a crack at corporate traffic and the transpacific routes. "It goes both ways," Mr Zhihang said.
