Air Canada 'investing a lot' in the Australian aviation market

Air Canada Australia and New Zealand GM Vic Naughton, speaking at the CAPA Melbourne Aviation & Corporate Travel Summit, stated (24-May-2018) Air Canada is now a major player in the Australia aviation market, adding "we're investing a lot in this market, we're serious about it". Mr Naughton noted Air Canada will be the sole North American airline serving three major Australia cities when it resumes three times weekly Vancouver-Melbourne Tullamarine service with Boeing 787-9 aircraft in Jun-2018. He added that Air Canada aims to increase frequency on the service to daily in the near future.
