Air Berlin Sep-2011 quarter EBIT weakens 44% despite 11% revenue growth

Air Berlin reported the following preliminary financial highlights for the three months ended 30-Sep-2011:

  • Revenue: EUR1376 million, +10.8% year-on-year;
  • Operating costs: EUR1280 million, +16.8%;
  • EBITDAR: EUR269.3 million, -19.9%;
