Air Berlin reports preliminary operating loss of EUR188m in 1Q2011

Air Berlin reported (11-May-2011) the following preliminary financial highlights for the three months ended 31-Mar-2011:

• Revenue: EUR751.6 million, +8.8% year-on-year;
• Operating costs: EUR793.6 million, +18.6%;
• Operating profit (loss): (EUR188.3 million), compared with a loss of EUR98.6 million in p-c-p. [more]
