Air Berlin and SR Technics enter extensive engine services partnership

Air Berlin awarded (06-Jan-2010) SR Technics a ten-year engine maintenance contract. The contract covers a significant number of the engines on Air Berlin's fleet of 55 A320, 13 A330s and 55 B737NGs. As part of the contract, a financing agreement for up to 12 spare engines, worth approximately USD100 million, was agreed between SR Technics' parent company, Mubadala Development Company, and Air Berlin.
