Air Astana: large potential since country can be reached from Kazakhstan with new narrowbodies

Air Astana CEO Peter Foster, speaking at CAPA's World Aviation Summit in Amsterdam, stated (26/27-Nov-2013) that there is huge potential in China for his airline since most of China can be reached from Kazakhstan with new-generation narrowbody aircraft like the A320neo and Boeing 737 MAX. As previously reported by CAPA, Air Astana is evaluating new-generation narrowbody aircraft to replace its 757s and the carrier could make a fleet decision in 2014. [more - CAPA Analysis]
