AIIM acquires 50% stake in SEGAP, allowing company to capitalise on growth opportunities in Africa

African Infrastructure Investment Managers (AIIM) acquired (03-Jul-2018) a 50% stake in Société d'Exploitation et de Gestion Aéroportuaires (SEGAP), a holding company with a portfolio of airport investments across West and Central Africa. The acquisition, through African Infrastructure Investment Fund 3, will further diversify its portfolio. SEGAP remains 50% owned by the Egis Group. AIIM will contribute additional strategic support to SEGAP and provide access to capital for further expansion. This will allow SEGAP to capitalise on growth opportunities "as the African aviation sector matures and opens up for private sector investment in airport infrastructure". [more - original PR]
