AIA: Failure to reauthorise FAA costs US USD200m a day

Aerospace Industries Association estimated (22-Jul-2011) that the partial shut-down of the US Federal Aviation Administration will cost the US government more than USD200 million per day in lost revenue. AIA President, Marion C Blakey, call the shut-down "very disturbing", after 20 short-term extensions and almost four years without an FAA authorization bill. [more]
