Aeroports de Paris EBITDA up 6% in 1H2011

France’s Aeroports de Paris revenue up 2% - financial highlights for the six months ended 30-Jun-2011:

  • Revenue: EUR1343 million, +1.8% year-on-year;
    • Aviation: EUR725 million, +4.7%;
      • Airport fees: EUR397 million, +6.2%;
      • Airport security tax: EUR224 million, +5.6%;
    • Retail and services: EUR479 million, +6.3%;
      • Commercial activities: EUR217 million, +11.1%;
        • Rentals: EUR145 million, +10.5%;
      • Car parks and access roads: EUR79 million, +6.0%;
    • Real estate: EUR118 million, +3.4%;
    • Ground handling: EUR95 million, +1.7%;
  • EBITDA* (loss): EUR459 million, +6.3%;
    • Aviation: EUR167 million, +6.5%;
    • Retail and services: EUR227 million, +10.2%;
    • Real estate: EUR64 million, +2.0%;
    • Ground handling: (EUR8 million), compared to a loss of EUR4 million in p-c-p;
  • Net profit: EUR180 million, +30.6%;
  • Total assets: EUR7899 million, -4.6% when compared to period ended 31-Dec-2010;
  • Cash and cash equivalents: EUR448.8 million, -44.5% when compared to period ended 31-Dec-2010;
  • Total liabilities: EUR4463 million, -8.5% when compared to period ended 1-Dec-2010. [more]

Aeroports de Paris: “Based on a traffic growth assumption ranging between +4.5% and +5.0% in 2011, and given that Masternaut is out of the scope of consolidation in particular, Aéroports de Paris expects a slightly lower growth in revenue and EBITDA than that observed in 20101.
