Spain’s AENA reports passenger traffic up 6.8% – traffic highlights in Jun-2011:

  • Passenger numbers: 19.45, +6.8%;
  • Aircraft movements: 198,328, +1.7%
    • Madrid-Barajas: 37,146, -1.6%;
    • Barcelona: 27,562, +11.3%;
    • Palma de Mallorca:20,674, +7.2%;
    • Malaga: 10,588, +4.0%;
    • Gran Canaria: 8253, +2.1%;
    • Ibiza: 7790, +11.6%;
    • Alicante: 7587, +3.2%;
    • Valencia: 6262, -14.1%;
    • Tenerife North: 5221, -1.7%;
    • Bilbao: 5139, +4.0%;
  • Air cargo: 54,464 tonnes, +4.8%;
    • Madrid-Barajas: 31,575, +6.0%;
    • Barcelona: 7641, -4.1%;
    • Zaragoza: 3487, +6.3%
    • Vitoria: 3098, +36.5%;
    • Gran Canaria: 1813, +1.9%;
    • Palma de Mallorca: 1505, -9.0%;
