Association of European Airlines (AEA) reports (17-Nov-2009) the following traffic highlights on trans-Atlantic services for its member airlines in Sep-2009:

• Passenger numbers:
  • North Atlantic: 2.6 million, -3.6% year-on-year;
  • Mid Atlantic: 449,100, -9.4%;
  • South Atlantic: 473,300, -7.5%;
• Load factor:
  • North Atlantic: 86.5%, +4.4 ppts;
  • Mid Atlantic: 79.0%, -0.3 ppt;
  • South Atlantic: 84.6%, -1.6 ppt.
