Association of European Airlines
The Association of European Airlines (AEA) represented the voice of European full service airline sector for over 50 years. AEA worked in partnership with the institutions of the European Union and other stakeholders in the value chain. AEA provided support by following all aeropolitical issues, analysing their impact, recommending strategies, networking with all relevant stakeholders and influencing the legislative process.
Following a presidents' assembly meeting on 22-Nov-2016, the Association of European Airlines agreed to cease all public activities with immediate effect. The association ceased all activities by the end of 2016. In Nov-2016, AEA reported it had 22 member airlines.
