Vietnam's Ministry of Construction confirmed that the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam and Airports Corporation of Vietnam aimed to complete Long Thanh International Airport's construction in 2025, with operational launch, including the second runway, targeted for 3Q20261. The passenger terminal contractor was selected in Aug-2023, with operations expected from 20262. Over 1000 personnel and significant equipment had been mobilised for construction activities3.
