ADA - Aerolinea de Antioquia to sell Caucasia Airport

ADA - Aerolinea de Antioquia, via its official webpage, announced (29-Apr-2019) plans to sell Caucasia Airport due to the financial difficulties which led the carrier to suspend operations on 29-Mar-2019. The carrier stated it possesses enough assets to cover its obligations, ADA CEO Andres Betancur stated: "Our priority now is to sell the airport to have enough resources to address commitments". Since 29-Mar-2019, the carrier has reaccommodated 195 passengers on other airlines and reimbursed a further 3168 passengers. Reaccomodation expenses were COP36.3 million (USD11,100) while reimbursements costs were COP682.6 million (USD209,600).
