Vietnam's Ministry of Construction approved adjustments to Long Thanh International Airport's planning, reducing the width of the second runway from 60m to 45m. Construction of the second runway was scheduled to commence by early Jun-2025 and is expected to be completed within 12 months, with the new runway located 400m north of the current runway under construction1 2.
