The construction of Long Thanh International Airport was a significant project, with its first phase initially expected to be operational by 20251. The project faced delays, leading to a new completion date of Dec-2026 for phase one to accommodate the additional runway2. The airport was planned to commence operations in 3Q20263. The second runway was scheduled for completion by Sep-2026, requiring an investment of VND3400 billion4.
