ACI Europe: 'Fully securing public spaces through additional security checks would be unrealistic'

ACI Europe commented (22-Mar-2016) on Belgium and other EU governments "reviewing their terrorist threat level" and increasing security measures in light of the Brussels Airport attacks. ACI Europe stated the potential adaptation of additional security measures, including checks on persons and goods entering airport landside spaces, could counterintuitively become disruptive and "actually create new security vulnerabilities".
