Airbus confirmed plans to offer its Airspace cabin on new, linefit A220 deliveries from 2026, with retrofit availability planned “in the coming years”, including Airspace XL bins, a new passenger service unit and enhanced LED lighting options1 2. Airbus also partnered with Siemens Canada on a decarbonisation and energy efficiency project at the A220 Mirabel final assembly plant, targeting a 50% CO2 emissions reduction and a 25% cut in associated energy costs3.
