Zurich Airport key figures Jan-2010

During January 2010 1'608'453 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport, a gain of 6.5% versus January 2009. This shows a continuation to the regained positive growth trend in the last quarter of 2009. O&D or local passengers (originating or departing from Zurich) have risen by 7.0% to 998'082 compared to previous January. Transfer passengers are up by 5.9% to 601'742 in January. The transfer rate which was at 37.8% last January is currently at 37.5%.
