U.S. DOJ Approves Alaska Airlines, Virgin America Merger
06-Dec-2016 Today, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) announced that it has concluded its review of Virgin America's proposed merger with Alaska Airlines. This is a big milestone as we move closer to joining forces to offer travelers more rewards and more flights. Although a few more steps need to happen before we close our merger, the airlines expect to officially join forces before the end of the year. After the merger officially closes, we'll be sharing more information on what this combination means for travelers.
