U.S. DOJ Approves Alaska Airlines, Virgin America Merger

06-Dec-2016 Today, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) announced that it has concluded its review of Virgin America's proposed merger with Alaska Airlines. This is a big milestone as we move closer to joining forces to offer travelers more rewards and more flights. Although a few more steps need to happen before we close our merger, the airlines expect to officially join forces before the end of the year.
