Travel Advisory: Temporary Hibernation of AirAsia Indonesia Flights

Direct News Source

In view of the current COVID-19 situation in Indonesia, AirAsia Indonesia (flight code QZ) would like to announce extension of the temporary hibernation of its scheduled commercial flight operations in support of the containment efforts by the government of the Republic of Indonesia and in line with the extension of the public restrictive order (PPKM).

All AirAsia Indonesia scheduled flights will not be operating until 6 September 2021. However, chartered and cargo flight services will remain operational to support the repatriation of travellers and shipment of goods as well as other essential purposes in strict health and safety protocols.

All guests who wish to change their flights during this period have the option of converting their flight booking into a credit account that is valid for future redemption for 730 days or to move their flights for an unlimited number of times without any charges to another date prior to 31 October 2021. Guests may also be eligible for a refund. Guests can perform these changes via AVA on airasia.com or support.airasia.com.

AirAsia always places the safety and wellbeing of its guests and employees as its top priority. We will continue to evaluate the situation closely and be prepared to reinstate our scheduled flight services at any time as the situation improves.
