The number of tourists visiting Indonesia in December 2019 reached 1.38 million visits.

The number of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia in December 2019 has decreased by 2.03 percent compared to the number of visits in December 2018. Meanwhile, when compared to November 2019, the number of foreign tourists visiting in December 2019 has increased by 7.52 percent.

During 2019, the number of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia reached 16.11 million visits, an increase of 1.88 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists visiting the same period in 2018, which totaled 15.81 million visits.Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) star hotels in Indonesia in December 2019 reached an average of 59.39 percent or down 0.36 points compared to the ROR in December 2018 which was recorded at 59.75 percent. Meanwhile, compared to the November 2016 TPK, the star rating of hotels in December 2019 increased by 0.81 points.

The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at star classification hotels during December 2019 was 1.76 days, an increase of 0.01 points compared to the situation in December 2018.
