The number of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia in October 2019 reached 1.35 million visits.

The number of foreign tourist arrivals or tourists to Indonesia in October 2019 has increased 4.86 percent compared to the number of visits in October 2018. Meanwhile, when compared with September 2019, the number of foreign tourists visiting in October 2019 has decreased by 3.28 percent.

Cumulatively (January-October 2019), the number of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia reached 13.62 million or an increase of 2.85 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists visiting the same period in 2018, which amounted to 13.25 million visits.

Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star classification hotels in Indonesia in October 2019 reached an average of 56.77 percent or fell 2.07 points compared to the ROR of October 2018 which was recorded at 58.84 percent. Meanwhile, when compared to the September 2014 TPK, the star rating of hotel classifications in October 2019 increased by 3.25 points.

The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at star classification hotels during October 2019 was 1.80 days, a decrease of 0.10 points compared to the situation in October 2018.
