Abstraction

The number of foreign tourist visits to Indonesia in November 2020 experienced a sharp decline of 86.31 percent compared to the number of visits in November 2019. However, when compared to the previous month, October 2020, this condition increased quite high by 13.90 percent.
Cumulatively (January - November 2020), the number of foreign tourist visits to Indonesia reached 3.89 million visits or decreased by 73.60 percent when compared to the number of foreign tourist visits in the same period in 2019 which totaled 14.73 million visits.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-classified hotels in Indonesia in November 2020 reached an average of 40.14 percent or decreased by 18.44 points compared to the ROR for the same month in 2019 which was recorded at 58.58 percent. Conversely, when compared to the previous month, the ROR for November 2020 had an increase of 2.66 points.
The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at star-rated hotels during November 2020 was recorded at 1.59 days, or a decrease of 0.19 points when compared to November 2019.
