The number of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia in November 2018 reached 1.15 million visits

The number of foreign tourist arrivals or tourists to Indonesia in November 2018 increased by 8.16 percent compared to the number of visits in November 2017, namely from 1.06 million visits to 1.15 million visits. Meanwhile, compared to October 2018, the number of foreign tourists visits in November 2018 decreased by 11.26 percent.
Cumulatively (January-November 2018), the number of foreign tourist visits to Indonesia reached 14.39 million visits, up 11.63 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists visiting the same period in 2017 which amounted to 12.89 million visits.
The hotel occupancy rate (TPK) of star classification in Indonesia in November 2018 reached an average of 60.19 percent, up 2.31 points compared to the November 2017 TPK which was recorded at 57.88 percent. Likewise, if compared to the October 2018 TPK, the hotel TPK star classification in November 2018 increased by 1.35 points.
The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at the star classification hotel during November 2018 was 1.85 days, an increase of 0.05 points compared to November 2017.
