The number of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia in July 2019 reached 1.48 million

The number of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia in July 2019 has decreased by 4.10 percent compared to the number of visits in July 2018. Meanwhile, when compared to June 2019, the number of foreign tourists visiting in July 2019 has increased by 2.04 percent.

Cumulatively (January-July 2019), the number of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia reached 9.31 million visits, an increase of 2.63 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists visiting the same period in 2018, which amounted to 9.07 million visits.

Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star classification hotels in Indonesia in July 2019 reached an average of 56.73 percent or down 2.57 points compared to TPK in July 2018 which was recorded at 59.30 percent. Meanwhile, when compared to the ROR for June 2019, the ROR for star-rated hotels in July 2019 increased by 4.46 points.

The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at star classification hotels during July 2019 was 1.80 days, an increase of 0.07 points compared to the situation in July 2018.
