The number of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia in February 2021 reached 117.00 thousand visits

Abstraction

• The number of foreign tourist visits to Indonesia in February 2021 experienced a sharp decline of 86.59 percent compared to the number of visits in February 2020. When compared to the previous month, January 2021, the number of foreign tourist visits in February 2021 decreased quite significantly by 14.74 percent .
• Cumulatively (January-February 2021), the number of foreign tourist visits reached 254.23 thousand visits or decreased by 88.25 percent when compared to the number of foreign tourist visits in the same period in 2020 which amounted to 2.16 million visits.
• The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-classified hotels in Indonesia in February 2021 reached an average of 32.40 percent or decreased by 16.82 points compared to the ROR for the same month in 2020 which was recorded at 49.22 percent. On the other hand, when compared to the previous month, the ROR for February 2021 increased by 2.05 points.
• The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at star-classified hotels during February 2021 was recorded at 1.66 days or a decrease of 0.08 points when compared to February 2020.
