The number of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia in February 2019 reached 1.27 million visits

The number of foreign tourist arrivals or tourists to Indonesia in February 2019 rose 6.12 percent compared to the number of visits in February 2018, namely from 1.20 million visits to 1.27 million visits. Similarly, when compared to January 2019, the number of foreign tourist visits in February 2019 increased by 4.80 percent.

Abstraction:
- Cumulatively (January-February 2019), the number of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia reached 2.48 million visits, up 8.19 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists visiting the same period in 2017 which amounted to 2.30 million visits.
- The hotel occupancy rate (TPK) of star classification in Indonesia in February 2019 reached an average of 52.44 percent, down 3.77 points compared to February 2018 TPK which was recorded at 56.21 percent. Meanwhile, if compared to the January 2019 TPK, the hotel TPK star classification in February 2019 increased by 0.97 points.
- The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests in the star classification hotel during February 2019 was recorded at 1.93 days, an increase of 0.01 points compared to the situation in February 2018.
