The number of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia in December 2018 reached 1.41 million visits DOWNL

The number of foreign tourist arrivals or tourists to Indonesia in December 2018 rose by 22.54 percent compared to the number of visits in December 2017, namely from 1.15 million visits to 1.41 million visits. Similarly, when compared to November 2018, the number of foreign tourists visiting in December 2018 increased by 21.43 percent.
During 2018, the number of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia reached 15.81 million visits, up 12.58 percent compared to the number of foreign tourist visits in the same period in 2017 which amounted to 14.04 million visits.
The Hotel Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star classification in Indonesia in December 2018 reached an average of 59.75 percent, up 0.22 points compared to the December 2017 TPK which was recorded at 59.53 percent. Meanwhile, if compared to the November 2018 TPK, the hotel TPK star classification in December 2018 decreased by 0.44 points.
The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at the star classification hotel during December 2018 was 1.75 days, an increase of 0.03 points compared to December 2017.
