Temporary Closure of Runway B

Due to the global spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of aircraft movements atNarita Airport has significantly decreased, and the recovery is expected to take a considerableamount of time.
Therefore, in order to ensure operational safety and efficiency at the airport
while also striving to prevent further spread of the pandemic, we have decided to close
Runway B and move to Single Runway Operations using Runway A.

Closure: From 6:00 a.m., Sunday, 12 April 2020 JST until further notice.
* Reopening schedule of Runway B: another notice will be released.
