Solomon Airlines: Santa Cruz Flights Cancelled due to Volcano

21-Oct-2017 At approximately 0615 this morning (Saturday 21st October), Tinakula Volcano near Lata / Santa Cruz erupted. As a result of the eruption and subsequent Ash Cloud, we had no choice but to cancel today's Santa Cruz flight. Due to the unpredictable nature of this situation, we can not advise when the flights will be re-instated.
As always, the safety of our staff and passengers will be our first priority when considering options. Please refer to our website or Facebook page Sunday afternoon or Monday morning for flight status update.
