Ryanair Opens New Bordeaux Base – 37 Routes S19 2 New S20 Routes To Agadir & Thessaloniki

Ryanair, Europe's No. 1 airline, today (12 June) celebrated the opening of its new Bordeaux base (its 2 French

base) with 3 based aircraft (an investment of $300m) and 37 routes, connecting 14 countries, as Ryanair delivers 1.4m customers p.a. at Bordeaux airport.

Ryanair also announced two new Summer 2020 routes to Agadir and Thessaloniki, both operating twice weekly from April 2020.

Ryanair's new Bordeaux base will deliver:

• 3 based aircraft ($300m investment)

• 37 routes including: Alicante (2 per week), Bari (2), Budapest (2), Bologna (2), Brest (3), Brussels Charleroi (5), Cologne (3), Copenhagen (3), Cork (2), Dublin (2), Edinburgh (3), Faro (2), Fez (2), Krakow (2), Lamezia (2), Lille (1 daily), Lisbon (5), London Stansted (6), Malaga (3), Manchester (2), Marrakesh (2), Marseille (1 daily), Milan Bergamo (5), Mykonos (1), Nador (2), Naples (2), Oujda (1), Ouarzazate (2), Palermo (2), Porto (3), Prague (2), Rome Ciampino (4), Seville (2), Strasbourg (3), Tangier (2), Valencia (2) & Venice Treviso (3)

• Up to 86 weekly flights

• 1.4 million customers p.a. (+186%)

• 100 Ryanair jobs

• 1,000* "on-site" jobs p.a.

Bordeaux's citizens and visitors can book their holidays as far out as October 2020, enjoying even lower fares and Ryanair's 2019 customer care improvements. To celebrate Ryanair has released 100,000 sale seats from just €17.99 for travel between June and September, which are only available for booking on the Ryanair.com website until midnight Friday (14 June).
