Response to Qantas Media Announcement

Alliance Aviation Services Limited ("Alliance") refers to the media announcement by Qantas Airways Limited (ASX: QAN) ("Qantas") released this morning that it now has a 19.9% holding in Alliance.

The Board has not received any approach from Qantas at the time of this media announcement.

Alliance will release its half year results to the market next week.

Alliance is being advised by Catapult Partners as financial adviser and Herbert Smith Freehills as legal adviser.
