Direct News Source

On 3 April 2018, Qantas will be relocating from Terminal 7 to Terminal 8 at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).

Qantas will share the terminal with partner American Airlines, enabling customers transiting through JFK to connect to onward flights more easily.

In our new home in Terminal 8, customers will also enjoy more space at check-in and an extensive range of food and retail outlets.

Eligible customers will also have access to American Airlines' lounges within the terminal. The Admirals Club lounges are available for Qantas Club members, while Business customers can enjoy the newly renovated Flagship Lounge. American Airlines' lounges are also available to eligible Qantas Frequent Flyers and oneworld members.

Connecting between LAX and JFK

Following the move, all Qantas flights to and from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) will arrive at and depart from New York JFK Terminal 8. All arrivals and departures are on the same level.

All other oneworld carriers arrive at and depart from Terminals 1, 7 and 8 and are conveniently connected via free AirTrain, which operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Customers booked on flights to or from New York are advised to check their travel itinerary or Qantas.com prior to travel to ensure they have the correct departure and/or arrival information.
