Qantas expands Air Vanuatu codeshare with new route

Qantas will codeshare on Air Vanuatu's new nonstop service between Melbourne (MEL) and Port Vila (VLI)*, providing customers more opportunities to earn and redeem Qantas Points on the only direct connection offered between the cities.

Qantas codeshare customers will benefit from the option to travel on Air Vanuatu's conveniently-timed flights from Melbourne, giving them more time to explore the island destination. Fares are now available to book, for travel from 18 June 2019.

Air Vanuatu flights will depart Melbourne at 7.00am (AEST) on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, arriving in Port Vila at 12.30pm (local time), with a flight time of just over 4 hours. The return flight will depart Port Vila at 4.00pm (local time) on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, arriving in Melbourne at 8.00pm (AEST).

Fares on the new Melbourne (MEL) - Port Vila (VLI) route are now available to book. Qantas also codeshares with Air Vanuatu on Brisbane (BNE) - Port Vila (VLI), Brisbane (BNE) - Espiritu Santo (SON) and Sydney (SYD) - Port Vila (VLI) services.
