​Norwegian’s New Flight to Amsterdam Now in Service

Norwegian, the World's Best Low-Cost Long-Haul Airlineand Airline of the Year 2017, today launches its first flight from the United States to Amsterdam's Airport Schiphol. The airline's first-ever nonstop flight to Amsterdam from the U.S. departs from New York City's John F. Kennedy International Airport this evening.

"Amsterdam is one of the most popular citiesin Europe, as well as a favorite among Americans, so it was a clear choice to add to our route network as we continue to expand our transatlantic presence. We are excited to give New Yorkers a more affordable direct access to Holland. Travelers will be able to enjoy award-winning service onboard our brand-new fleet, whilst saving their money," said Thomas Ramdahl, Norwegian's Chief Communications Officer.

The new Amsterdam service will operate four times per week from New York City. The new route expands Norwegian's presence at New York's JFK Airport with six direct routes to Europe, as well as two to the French Caribbean. Norwegian will add its seventh European route from JFK to Madrid on July 16.

Fares as low as $199 one-way, including taxes, in Economy are now available for sale on Norwegian'swebsite. The lowest fares in Norwegian's Premium Cabinto Amsterdam start at $619 one-way, including taxes. Premium service includes a dedicated check-in counter, additional luggage allowance, fast track security, lounge access, priority boarding, recliner seats, all meals and drinks.

Additionally, the website'slow fare calendardisplays the lowest available fares to all of Norwegian's destinations. Passengers on all of Norwegian's routes are eligible to join Norwegian Reward, the airline's frequent flyer program, and can earn CashPoints every time they fly, stay at a hotel or drive a rental car.
