Northern Territory Airports: Making our terminal ‘China Ready’

Oct-2017 Following a recent high level delegation to China, led by Tourism Minister Lauren Moss, which included Ian Kew, CEO and Matthew Findlay, Aviation Director NT Airports; Darwin International Airport has embarked on a project to make our terminal 'China Ready', to support possible future Chinese airline services. So far the project has involved trialling airport systems being translated to Mandarin, such as the Flight Information Display System and select key terminal voiceovers.
"We are keen to ensure if and when Chinese visitors are able to start flying directly to Darwin, we are giving them a positive visitor experience and welcoming them to our city right from the outset", said Ian Kew.
