Southwest Airlines passengers totaled 357,671, up 1.5% compared to January 2016; American Airlines passengers totaled 190,284, up 4%; United Airlines passengers totaled 134,998, up 1%; Delta Air Lines passengers totaled 109,863, up 9%; jetBlue Airways passengers totaled 43,752, up 13%; Frontier Airlines passengers totaled 23,522, up 36%; Alaska Airlines passengers totaled 17,395, up 31%; Allegiant Air passengers totaled 12,556, up 48%; Virgin America passengers totaled 11,838, up 5%; British Airways passengers totaled 9,877, up 0.1 %; Air Canada passengers totaled 3,394, up 18%; AeroMexico passengers totaled 2,932; Volaris passengers totaled 2,183; and Texas Sky passengers totaled 126, up 5%.
January 2017 air cargo totaled 13,583,548 lbs., up 11.5% compared to January 2016. International air cargo totaled 1,643,748 lbs., up 93.5%. Federal Express carried 8 million lbs., up 8.5%; and United Parcel Service carried 2.5 million lbs., up 32%.
Air Services transferred 452,562 lbs. of mail, up 18%; and 1,278,598 lbs. of belly freight, up 3%.
Aircraft Operations: General Aviation operations totaled 4,340, up 8%. Combined operations (including commercial and military) totaled 15,661, up 5%.
