In July 2016, Avianca Holdings S.A. and its subsidiaries carried more than 2.6 million passengers

In July, the subsidiary companies of Avianca Holdings S.A. (NYSE: AVH) (BVC: PFAVH) (*) transported 2,611,161 passengers, an increase of 1.8% compared to July 2015. Capacity, measured in ASKs (available seat kilometers), increased 3.3%, while passenger traffic, measured in RPKs (revenue passenger kilometers), increased 4.9%. The load factor for the month was 85.1%, an increase of 130 bps compared to the same period of 2015.

Domestic markets in Colombia, Peru and Ecuador

In July, the subsidiary airlines of Avianca Holdings transported within each of these markets a total of 1,532,371 travelers, an increase of 0.2% compared to July 2015. Capacity (ASKs) increased 0.1% while passenger traffic (RPKs) increased 1.2%. The load factor for the month was 82.5%, an increase of 90 bps compared to the same period of 2015.

International markets

In July, the affiliated airlines of Avianca Holdings transported 1,078,790 passengers on international routes, up 4.3% compared to July 2015, Capacity (ASKs) increased 4.2%, while passenger traffic (RPKs) increased 5.9%. The load factor for the month was 85.7%, an increase of 140 bps when compared to the same period of 2015.
