Important information for Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon passengers travelling in April

In light of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and the subsequent travel restrictions and severe drop in demand, Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon will reduce capacity by 97% across our passenger network in April.

We intend to operate a bare skeleton passenger flight schedule in April.

Cathay Pacific will operate two flights per week to long-haul destinations: London (Heathrow), Los Angeles, Vancouver and Sydney, and three flights per week to the other eight regional destinations: Tokyo (Narita), Taipei, New Delhi, Bangkok, Jakarta, Manila, Ho Chi Minh City and Singapore.

Cathay Dragon will operate three flights per week to 3 destinations: Beijing, Shanghai (Pudong), and Kuala Lumpur.

We will continue to monitor these flights closely and may make further reductions if necessary.

For more information, our notice regarding travel restrictions outlines the different entry restrictions by country, and our novel coronavirus (COVID-19) information centre details the precautionary measures we're taking in response to the current situation.

Your flight booking

If your upcoming journey is affected by these suspensions or frequency reductions, you'll receive an email notification from us with your alternative flight arrangements or refund options.

We're also waiving rebooking, rerouting, no-show and cancellation fees for tickets booked before 23 March 2020 - so you can alter your plans easily.
