Cathay Dragon, formerly known as Dragonair, was a wholly owned subsidiary of Cathay Pacific and the second largest airline based in Hong Kong. Cathay Dragon’s network included services to China as well as central and south east Asia. Cathay Pacific changed the carrier's identity from Dragonair on 21-Nov-2016, as part of a unified branding strategy.

On 21-Oct-2020, Cathay Pacific Group announced Cathay Dragon will cease operations with immediate effect.
