Icelandair and Southwest Airlines sign a strategic partnership agreement
Icelandair and Southwest Airlines signed a strategic partnership agreement on January 15. The partnership will allow customers to easily connect between the two airlines' networks, with sales and travel through Baltimore launching in February. Southwest Airlines is the largest domestic carrier in the US and offers flights to numerous destinations across North America. Icelandair is Southwest's initial airline partner.
